Second Creek A view of Tamarac Marina from the opposite side of the
creek. This was the first summer for the marina's new owners, Karen and
Carrol Tysinger. It's boat ramp and gas pier remained high and dry through
out the summer.

Second Creek Looking at the gas pier at Tamarac Marina. Usually this
is a busy place where it's "floating room only" as boats
line up to purchase fuel and supplies. Summer is the most active time for
Tamarac Marina where the brisk seasonal business carries it through the
off season.

Watership Downs Subdivision A panoramic view of a dry High Rock Lake.
The open expanse of grass where a lake should be causes one to be taken
back a bit. The green eventually turned to brown as the lake continued to
dry out thus parching the vegetation.

Swearing Creek A panoramic view of the Hickory Point subdivision
from the quarry side of the creek. With it's rocky banks, this creek is
a favorite bass fishing location. Notice all the stranded boats.

skiing area as well as a great place to catch catfish.
